Supporting Julian Housing

ESTATE AGENT SIGNS UP FOR HOMELESS CHALLENGE

Nunney Castle will provide a dramatic backdrop as online estate agent, littlepigs.net, signs up to support the work of homeless charity Julian House.  On hand will be the company’s Managing Director, John Macbeth and the charity’s Funding Manager, Cecil Weir.

Given the nature of the company’s business, their support for the area’s leading homeless charity is particularly fitting.  Over the next twelve months littlepigs.net has committed to give £20 from every house sale toward the work of Julian House and is kicking off their campaign with an initial donation of £200.  This represents the proceeds from their last 10 completions.  During 2007 the company hopes to make a substantial gift.

Cecil Weir is delighted to receive this endorsement - “This is a terrific example of corporate social responsibility in action.  littlepigs.net is in the housing business which is obviously a key element of what Julian House does.  The big difference is that our clients are often disconnected from mainstream society and suffer from some very difficult issues – including addictions and/or mental health problems.  There is no question of them gaining access to the home owning property boom.  Just making it through day is often a big enough challenge.
